EN 55012:2007+A1 Vehi­cles, boats, and inter­nal com­bus­tion engines — Radio dis­tur­bance char­ac­ter­is­tics — Lim­its and meth­ods of mea­sure­ment for the pro­tec­tion of off-​board receivers (CISPR 12:2007+A1:2009)

Scope
Inter­na­tional stan­dard EN 55012:2007+A1 are used to pro­vide pro­tec­tion for broad­cast receivers in the fre­quency range 30MHz-​1000MHz when used in the res­i­den­tial envi­ron­ment.

EN 55012:2007+A1 are applied to emis­sions cre­ated by:
· vehi­cles pro­pelled by an inter­nal com­bus­tion engine, elec­tri­cal means or both (machine oper­ated on land and intended to carry per­sons or goods);
· boats pro­pelled by an inter­nal com­bus­tion engine, elec­tri­cal means or both (ves­sel intended to be used on the sur­face of water, its length being no greater than 15 m);
· devices equipped with inter­nal com­bus­tion engines (machine dri­ven by an inter­nal com­bus­tion engine which is not pri­mar­ily intended to carry per­sons or goods);

Inter­na­tional stan­dard EN 55012:2007+A1 are not applied to air­craft, trac­tion sys­tems (rail­way, tramway and elec­tric trol­ley­bus) or to incom­plete vehi­cles.
This stan­dard does not cover the case when elec­tro­mag­netic energy is emit­ted while the vehi­cle is con­nected to power mains for charg­ing.

Clas­si­fi­ca­tion
Inter­na­tional stan­dard EN 55012:2007+A1 have no clas­si­fi­ca­tion of equip­ment it cov­ers.

Require­ments
Radi­ated emis­sion require­ments must be sat­is­fied in fre­quency rage 30MHz-​1GHz
