EN 6100061:2007 Elec­tro­mag­netic com­pat­i­bil­ity (EMC) — Part 61: Generic stan­dards; Immu­nity for res­i­den­tial, com­mer­cial and light-​industrial envi­ron­ments

Inter­na­tional stan­dard EN 6100061:2007 is applic­a­ble for elec­tri­cal equip­ment that is used or intended to be used in res­i­den­tial, com­mer­cial and light indus­trial envi­ron­ments. If prod­uct do not have any spe­cific prod­uct stan­dard or prod­uct fam­ily stan­dard EN 610006-1:2007 can be applied.

Inter­na­tional stan­dard EN 6100061:2007 is applic­a­ble for equip­ment that can be con­nected to low volt­age pub­lic net­work or pub­lic DC net­work that is shared by other elec­tronic equip­ment. Stan­dard applies to bat­tery pow­ered equip­ment, also.

Res­i­den­tial, com­mer­cial and light indus­trial envi­ron­ment indoor and out­door can be:

  • Flats, apart­ments, stu­dios, houses;
  • Super­mar­kets, shops, restaurants;
  • Banks, offices, other busi­ness areas;
  • Cin­e­mas, clubs, bars;
  • Sport cen­ters, oil sta­tion, car park­ing areas;
  • Lab­o­ra­to­ries, workshops;

Inter­na­tional stan­dard EN 6100061:2007 have no clas­si­fi­ca­tion of equip­ment it cov­ers.
