EN 6100064:2007+A1 Elec­tro­mag­netic com­pat­i­bil­ity (EMC) — Part 64: Generic stan­dards; Emis­sion stan­dard for indus­trial envi­ron­ments

Scope

Inter­na­tional stan­dard EN 6100064:2007 +A1 is applic­a­ble for elec­tri­cal equip­ment, that is used or intended to be used in indus­trial envi­ron­ment sup­plied by high or medium volt­age trans­former, or for equip­ment that is intended to oper­ate near to indus­trial envi­ron­ment. If prod­uct do not have any spe­cific prod­uct stan­dard or prod­uct fam­ily stan­dard EN 6100064:2007 +A1 can be applied. Stan­dard applies to bat­tery pow­ered equip­ment, also, if equip­ment is intended to be used in indus­trial envi­ron­ment or close prox­im­ity.

Clas­si­fi­ca­tion
Inter­na­tional stan­dard EN 6100064:2007 +A1 have no clas­si­fi­ca­tion of equip­ment it cov­ers.

Exam­ples
Power sup­plies, charg­ers, ven­ti­la­tors, heaters, water pump­ing sys­tems, con­vey­ors, min­ing equip­ment– ana­lyz­ers, drills.

Require­ments
Con­ducted emis­sion require­ments for mains ports and telecom­mu­ni­ca­tion ports must be sat­is­fied in fre­quency range 0kHz-​30MHz.

Radi­ated emis­sion require­ments must be sat­is­fied in fre­quency rage:

  • 30MHz-​1GHz if inter­nal oscil­la­tor fre­quency is up to 108MHz
  • 30MHz-​2GHz if inter­nal oscil­la­tor fre­quency is up to 500MHz
  • 30MHz-​5GHz if inter­nal oscil­la­tor fre­quency is up to 1GHz
  • 30MHz-​6GHz if inter­nal oscil­la­tor fre­quency is higher than 1GHz

If the inter­nal oscil­la­tor fre­quency is not known the mea­sure­ments shall be car­ried out up to 6GHz.
If the inter­nal oscil­la­tor fre­quency or work­ing fre­quency is up to 9kHz the mea­sure­ments shall be made up to 230MHz.
